With the final phase completed of our three year renovation and expansion project, The Avenue Inn and Spa is excited to announce a new partnership. They will team up with Chris Bisaha, Joe Baker and Chef Bill Clifton of Henlopen City Oyster House.
The top rated hotel in Rehoboth Beach will now have Rehoboth’s top rated restaurant guys bringing their new concept. It will be called The Blue Hen to The Avenue Inn and Spa!
The Blue Hen will be a regional American fare restaurant set in a similar ‘beach casual class’ décor that personifies The Avenue Inn and Spa. Independent farm and purveyor products are a favorite of Chef Clifton. This, along with his amazing food preparation, made The Oyster House famous. The Blue Hen will be delivering the same commitment to top quality eats, craft beers and boutique wines. Chris and Joe have developed their team to also deliver excellent guest service and professionalism. The Blue Hen is sure to be the new favorite spot for locals and visitors alike.
