After the travel restrictions are lifted… If you are visiting Rehoboth Beach Delaware, from the North, your travel may include the Cape May-Lewes ferry. Or if you happen to be spending some time in Rehoboth Beach, a fun day trip definitely includes a Cape May-Lewes ferry experience.
Here’s what you need to know:
The cruise is 17-mile, 85-minute between New Jersey and Delaware. However, the ferry can cut miles off a trip along the Atlantic Coast. Plus, it connects travelers to two beautiful beach towns. And the ferry accommodates vehicles and people.

Both Cape May and Lewes terminals offer shuttles. These shuttles can help foot passengers get around the local area. Shuttles operate on seasonal schedules, with limited stops, so be sure to talk to a customer service representative before making travel plans based around the shuttles. Shuttles from both terminals operate seasonally between Memorial Day weekend and September, with daily service beginning June 15 and continuing through September 29. The Shuttle fee for the Cape May and Lewes routes is $5/person for 6yrs of age and older.

If you utilize Uber, Lyft or a taxi service, please use the following addresses when arranging service:

Passengers are encouraged to arrange those services prior to arrival at the terminal. Please note that availability may vary depending on season.
