Each of this year’s productions offer a little bit of something for everyone, and we are sure you will love your night at the theatre during your autumn vacation in Rehoboth Beach.

How I Learned to Drive

A Pulitzer Prize winning play written by Paula Vogel, “How I Learned to Drive” is being performed here in Rehoboth until Sunday, October 9. This piece tells the story of a woman as she looks back on her life and the struggles she faced to escape her abusive uncle. Clear Space Theatre describes it as, “A wildly funny, surprising and devastating tale…”

It is performed on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. as well as Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m.

The Last Five Years

Created by Jason Robert Brown, “The Last Five Years” will be performed at Clear Space Theatre from October 21 to October 30. It is a bit of an unconventional musical, as it explores the five-year love story of a New York City couple who only share the stage during one scene.

Performances will be held on Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m. as well as Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m.

Beauty and the Beast Jr

Clear Space Theatre brings the classic tale of Belle and the Beast to life during one special November weekend! The perfect performance to bring your children to, “Beauty and the Beast Jr” is presented by the theatre’s Spotlight on Young Performers initiative.

Performances will be held from Friday, November 11 to Sunday, November 13. There will be a 7 p.m. show on Friday, 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. shows on Saturday, and a 3 p.m. show on Sunday. Tickets are just $15 each.

Meet Me in St. Louis

A humorous, feel-good production that will warm your heart as the holiday season approaches, “Meet Me in St. Louis” will be performed from November 25 to December 11. Laugh along to the musical inspired by Hugh Wheeler’s book as you enjoy some much needed relaxation in Rehoboth Beach before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

The show will start at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays, 7 p.m. on Saturdays and 3 p.m. on Sundays.

Tickets for all four events can be purchased online at or by calling the box office at 302-227-2270.
