The 22nd Annual British Motorcar Show is coming to the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal Green in Lewes, Delaware on Sunday, May 6!
You don’t have to be a car expert to enjoy the sights at the Annual British Motorcar Show. The British sports cars, roadsters, and saloons will be present. Whether you are a committed car lover or you simply appreciate the sight, all are welcome. Other British car models of the past will be present as well including MH, Morgan, Mini Cooper, Austin-Healey, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, Triumph, and more.
The featured model for this year’s show is the Triumph TR6, which were typically made between 1968 and 1976. Of the 94,610 that were produced, 86.239 were exported.
A classic car show is guaranteed to make a great afternoon and you’ll be surprised at what you might learn about the history of the automobile industry in Britain.
Admission is just $3.00 and children under twelve are free. For those participating in the show itself, there will be eight prize categories, as well as a “Best of Show” winner. There will also be a Winner’s Circle Awards Parade through downtown Lewes.
The show will star around 11 a.m. and is expected to end at 2 p.m. Head to the official website for more information.
Keep in mind that the show coincides with the downtown Merchants Sidewalk Sale, so you’ll also have the chance to shop around and hit some sales.
