November 17 – December 31: Winter WonderFEST
With the Light Spectacular at Cape Henlopen State Park and Christmas Village at nearby Cape May Lewes Ferry Terminal, Winter WonderFEST is the perfect way to get in the holiday mood with your family.
Drive through the dazzling light show, then enjoy carnival rides and games, delicious festive foods and a visit with Santa Claus!

November 24 – December 10: Miracle on 34th Street
Every December, Clear Space Theatre fills Rehoboth Beach with songs of the season with a Christmas-themed musical production.
Run from Friday, November 24 to Sunday, December 10, this year’s show is “Miracle on 34th Street.” A production that will melt even the most cynical of hearts, this musical is perfect for the whole family to attend.

November 24 – December 23: Santa’s House on the Boardwalk
One of the most exciting parts of the holiday season is getting a chance to talk with Santa. This year, he will be visiting his Rehoboth Beach home a few times between Friday, November 24 and Saturday, December 23.
Located just down the street from The Avenue, visit the boardwalk and share your Christmas wish list with Santa Claus.
There is no cost to visit, but donations are welcome.
December 2: Christmas Tour of Lewes
Take a short drive to Lewes, Delaware to take part in the town’s historical holiday tour on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Visit some of the area’s historic houses, decorated for Christmas by the Historical Society, as well as a few of the beautifully decorated private homes in the area.
After the tour, be sure to stop by the Rabbit’s Ferry House for the Christmas Antiques Bazaar and Bake Sale to warm up with some hot chocolate and Christmas collectibles. For tickets to the event, call 302-645-7670.
December 5: Hometown Christmas Parade
Sponsored by the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company, the Hometown Christmas Parade takes place on Tuesday, December 5 this year! A great way to kick off the festive month of December, this lighted parade strolls through the downtown area beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Parade participants and watchers alike are invited to visit the Rehoboth Beach Fire Station after the parade to visit with Santa Claus and enjoy some holiday snacks.
December 16: A Not So Silent Night
Celebrate the holidays with Clear Space Theatre and a few of our favorite local artists. The one-night performance of A Not So Silent Night is one that your entire family will enjoy.
Listen to the Christmas classics and newer holiday tunes between unique and witty musical skits. All seats are $25 and guests are welcome to sing along throughout the performance. The show starts at 7 p.m., so make sure you get here early to grab your tickets!
January 1: 7th Annual Hair of the Dog 5k/ 10k
After Christmas, walk, run, splash and plunge into 2018 with your pup at this New Year’s tradition! Head to downtown Bethany Beach for the 5k/10k at 8:45 am and cool off with the Leo Brady Eskimo Plunge at noon! There will be overall and age group awards as well as finishing medals for the first 300 10K participants. Online registration closes on Thursday, December 28th at noon. There are hundreds of runners expected, so reserve your spot soon for this family fun and festive event!
