Looking for a night of music, dancing and fun on the beach? June 12, 2015 marks the beginning of Rehoboth Beach Bandstand’s 52nd season of free summer concerts. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from June through August, music will begin at 8 p.m.
Love Seed Mama Jump, a local pop rock band from Dewey Beach, Delaware, will be the first act to perform this season. The group is known for being “The Official Rock Band of the Washington Redskins” and performs at FedEx Field after many of the team’s home games. The band frequently plays at The Rusty Rudder and Paradise Bar and Grill as well.
The Bandstand’s first weekend also includes concerts by Glass Onion and Paul Cullen. Glass Onion is a Delaware rock and roll band whose music includes a mix of hits from the 60s to present day. This upbeat show will have you singing and dancing along all night on Saturday, June 13.
Paul Cullen, the former Bad Company Bassist, now enjoys blending music, food and wine at mostly private events. The Bandstand concert is one of his few upcoming public concerts; be sure to catch him while you can Sunday, June 14.
Rehoboth Beach Bandstand has concerts all summer long, so be sure to check out what artists will be playing during your visit. Looking for a place to stay while relaxing to some summer music? Check out the Avenue Inn & Spa, located just a block in from the beach!
